“ Where do I start? This was a wonderful French meal in a charming setting even though it is conveniently located in a strip mall off of Okechobee. We ordered the three course bistro meal for $41 and a glass of kir royale. Everything was delicious. It took us two hours to eat and it was a wonderful relaxed meal. The person next to us remarked to his table mate that it seemed "slow" but we thoroughly enjoyed making an evening out of such a magnificent meal. While we ate inside, the outdoor dining looked terrific. We will definitely be going again. ”

Husband had the lamb shank and I had the ham and cheese crepe. Onion soup was lovely as were escargot. I was a little skeptical as there was only one waitress on and the place got busy but she had a system and keep the food coming just fine. Highly recommend! ”

“ Bonjour! What a treat! Se magnifique! You can merci me later after you eat. We all know the French own the world of fine dining, but what happens when you have access to a comfy corner cafe that serves delicious, fresh French cuisine? You get the French Corner Bistro. It was difficult to choose from the delicious menu choices, but we settled on a crepe stuffed with mushroom, spinach, and goat cheese and a smoked salmon baguette. Both were served with small salads. The crepe was simple but with fresh ingredients and a perfect crepe....I couldn't have been more happy. I asked to try my wife's salmon baguette and was blown away. It's something I would eat weekly if I lived here. I have no doubt the rest of the menu would be as pleasing. My only comment about service was that we weren't offered additional beverages. It's very typical for European lunches to be longer while you enjoy some wine or beer. We had both, but once lunch was finished, we weren't offered more of either. However, you must ask for the check. Overall, loved the food....and after all that why we go out! Enjoy this unique option! ”

“ What an excellent little restaurant! This is the type of place that you can drive by a hundred times and not know it's there. We stopped in for lunch, having seen the Yelp reviews and realizing the other food in the area is mostly fast food or Asian cuisine, which wasn't what we were looking for. The menu has plenty of options, although not an overwhelming amount. We zeroed in on a Prosciutto and Brie Sandwich and a daily special, Trout Meuniere served with a side salad. Both were delicious and fresh. We ordered a Brie and Caramelized apple sandwich to go, which was literally oozing with Brie and reportedly quite good as well. The service was friendly and efficient- no complaints there. The seating was comfortable, but I think you'd have difficulty dining with a group of more than 4-5 people, given the table configuration and size of the dining room. It seems like a perfect place for a couple or smaller group to dine in my opinion. We're looking forward to coming back soon and trying some of their other dishes. ”
